Welcome to HOUSE OF HALEEM at Sahara

Haleem is a fine delicacy that originates from Arabia and Persia. This dish that dates back centuries was also improved upon in the Mughal era in India when spices were masterfully added to this popular dish. In modern day, Hyderabad, India and Karachi, Pakistan have adopted Haleem as a dish for special occasions. The ingredients used to make Haleem include meat, barley, and lentils that are cooked along with various spices over a lengthened period of time. Aside from the enticing taste of the delicacy, Haleem is also high in protein and low in fat. It is a full meal enjoyed with condiments such as Julian ginger, coriander leaves, green peppers, fried onions, lemon, and chat masala (it can also be served with tandoori Naan). Sahara has collaborated with House of Haleem in order to serve the authentic taste of Haleem to Canadians.
